Filming Summer Camp Programs in 360 Video

A project from Aca's Camp Promotion Team

Over the summer of 2017 members of Aca will be visiting Camp Emerson in Idyllwild to begin filming 360 video some of the great programs offered at our own council's summer camp.  These videos will be featured in VR (virtual reality) displays at our camp promotion booth as well as online media. We will be filming videos featuring rock climbing, mountain bikes, canoeing, E-Team activities, as well as parts of everyday life during summer camp at Camp Emerson. These videos will be a part of a library that we are building featuring different high adventure activities that can be found in and around Southern California.

Filming dates at Camp Emerson will be on July 12, 19, and 26. If you would like to be part of the team that films and edits the videos then email acachapter@gmail.com to volunteer to be a part of the team.

Below are a couple of examples of 360 videos that we have already produced for our camp promotion booth. Be sure to use your mouse on a computer or your finger on a smart phone to pan the video to look at the great scenery.
