What does detsanvli mean?

Detsanvli (pronounced de-tsa-nuv-lee) is a word in the Cherokee language that means dance ground. The name was chosen because it best describes what the funds raised from this trade-o-ree will be used for. This Trade-O-Ree is a fundraiser to purchase the supplies to build the regalia needed for Cahuilla Lodge to form a dance team to perform with the Deer Run Singers drum team. All proceeds will go toward this purpose.
